He is always cheerful, kind, and willing to help. Pablo is genuinely one of the sweetest characters I have ever played as in a game. The story in Grapple Dog is absurdly light-hearted for a tale of revenge from our robot overlords. The world is doomed as Nul, the once friendly robot, begins to unleash his minions on the world!

Plot twist, the robot IS the great evil spoke of in legend and he tricked Pablo into unlocking his full power. To his surprise, a friendly little robot guides him to an exit. Pablo has a stretch of bad luck which lands him in the bottom of a hole. The trio are searching for the secrets of the Great Inventor on his now deserted island. Grapple Dog sees our protagonist, Pablo, setting off on an adventure with his boss, the Professor, and her lab assistant, Toni. Fast-forward almost twelve years later and we have the chance to experience a new indie darling published by a boutique physical game publisher? Color me intrigued! Welcome to our review of Grapple Dog for the Nintendo Switch. Not all of them were instant classics, but there were plenty that caught my eye and kept me cheering for the underdogs of game development. After playing and subsequently falling in love with it, I became invested in indie games. Before then, every game was made by a corporation with a hundred-man team. When I first took note of indie games, it was the release of Super Meat Boy on the Xbox 360.
